Crossroads Youth with a Future
We work with 'at risk' youth in living in the Christchurch East area which includes Shirley. We run a programme called Stay Real through four local schools, we also work with youth in the community who come to our drop-in centre which is open to all one night a week. We run a camp for the youth involved in each of our Stay Real programmes, and also run a camp for youth from our community who are involved in our Drop-In centre. We have a carving studio, and mentor youth aiming at instilling hope in them and their wh?nau, and supporting them to develop positive values.

New Brighton Community Gardens
The gardens foster participation and interaction which contributes to a sense of community. We believe that the community gardens bridge gaps, reduce stress and foster social integration between otherwise segregated groups by bringing people of diverse races/ethnicities, cultures, religions, socioeconomic classes, genders, ages, and educational backgrounds together to participate in shared activities with a common purpose.
